Without a fully integrated MIS system accessing pupil records for assessment and timetabling was often time consuming.

Without pupil records being linked to the finance package, invoicing term fees became increasingly inefficient. DESS decided to look for an integrated MIS to resolve these issues.

'e¹has helped us to achieve what we set out - a fully integrated MIS. The benefits of choosing a web-based system are being realised now with staff gaining flexibility in where they work and the whole school community can have access. The bonus was that we didn't need to purchase additional equipment or lots of licences so it made our budget stretch even further. We have also benefited from a seamless transfer of pupils and their data from the School into the College as the system is shared between the two establishments,' said David Hammond, Headteacher.
